Stephanie Savage Appointed as New Board Chair of Girls Inc.
October 28, 2024 — New York, NY — Girls Inc., the preeminent girls’ leadership organization that inspires girls to be strong, smart, and bold, is proud to announce the appointment of Stephanie Savage as the new Chair of the Girls Inc. National Board of Directors. Savage, an accomplished screenwriter, television producer, and co-founder of Fake Empire, will be stepping into this leadership role following her service as Vice Chair.
Recognized for being an iconic storyteller with credits that include The O.C. and Gossip Girl, Savage is also a long-time champion for girls’ and women’s rights. Savage has been an active Girls Inc. donor and advocate since 2010. In 2012, she was honored at the Girls Inc. Los Angeles Luncheon for her contributions and commitment to advancing the organization’s mission and has chaired the event since 2014, demonstrating her commitment to girls through fundraising and awareness efforts for Girls Inc.

Savage served alongside Tony Bucci, who had been Chair of the Board for Girls Inc. since 2007. Bucci is stepping down from his role but will continue serving as a dedicated board member.
