March 25, 2025 – New York, NY – Girls Inc. has been awarded a six-year, $15 million grant from Enterprise Mobility’s ROAD Forward initiative. This investment will help Girls Inc. provide its participants with the tools and resources they need to grow into confident, capable leaders and help create leadership pathways for staff.
For over 160 years, through a combination of mentorship, nurturing environments and holistic programming, Girls Inc. has been working with and for girls to ensure they have the tools to maximize their full potential. The grant supports enhancements to Girls Inc. programming—ensuring that girls have access to the latest proven best practices in building the confidence, leadership skills, and resilience needed to succeed in school, careers, and life. The grant will also support the professional development of the 2,300 staff members across the Girls Inc. Network, with leadership pathways.
“We are grateful to Enterprise Mobility for investing in young people and the programming proven to help girls become confident leaders through the ROAD Forward initiative,” said Stephanie J. Hull, Ph.D., President & CEO of Girls Inc. “Girls Inc. has a long history of evolving with the needs of each generation, and this investment ensures today’s girls are equipped to confidently pursue their chosen paths. We are also thankful for the investment in development and leadership opportunities for the professionals who bring the Girls Inc. Experience to life.”
“In my role as a St. Louis Girls Inc. Board member, I’ve witnessed the profound impact of young individuals, particularly girls, seeing their own potential reflected in successful mentors who are contributing to the well-being of their communities,” said Errin Braddock, Enterprise Mobility Chief Diversity Officer. “I am incredibly proud of our partnership with Girls Inc. through the ROAD Forward initiative, which has supported training and programming that is rooted in helping girls grow as leaders, develop empathy and build healthy relationships.”
The grant builds on a four-year partnership between Girls Inc. and Enterprise Mobility. Through this expanded partnership, Girls Inc. will strengthen communities, a benefit to all.
