As we continue to celebrate Women’s History Month, we are thrilled to highlight the leadership of Girls Inc. participants like Dr. Denai Gordon, an alumna of Girls Inc. of Omaha who is sharing her talents in the field of medicine to give back to her local Girls Inc. community. For Dr. Denai Gordon, Girls Inc. of Omaha is a place she considers home. She spent many hours at this center during her childhood and the mentoring and support she received at Girls Inc. helped shape the woman she is today. After earning her medical degree, Dr. Gordon had decided to share her talents with the Girls Inc. community serving as a physician at the Fontenelle Health Center and Family Medicine Clinic at the Girls Inc. Health Center. 

The Girls Inc. Health Center offers primary care, mental health services health education, among other services and resources to patients of all ages and genders throughout the local community. Patients do not need to be members of, or have any affiliation with Girls Inc. to receive care.

Dr. Gordon noted, “Coming back to the Girls Inc. Health Center is a full circle moment for me. It’s truly an honor to come back and serve the community in this way.” 

We are so proud of Dr. Gordon and all that she has accomplished. Her passion for caring for her local and Girls Inc. community is inspiring. She exemplifies what it is to be strong, smart, and bold inspiring the new generation of leaders.
