I was energized by the other girls in Eureka! who were excited to learn. The technology skills I got in the college’s computer lab went on my resume. I achieved things I never dreamed of in a million years — like building a robot, getting past my fear of heights on a ropes course, and understanding money and credit.

Girls Inc. began a serious expansion of Eureka!, an intensive, multi-year STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) experience offering innovative programming on a college campus to girls ages 12-18, inspiring greater interest and confidence in these fields. Funding from partners like The Merck Company Foundation, , and National Grid ensures girls gain the academic skills, career preparation, and support that lead to college success and economic self-sufficiency.
